The game was so fun and cute when it launched. I had a character that I enjoyed playing with. You could earn coins by adding friends, but even then it was a money-based game because you needed to spend money to get more coins. I stopped playing it for some reason, but logged in out of curiosity years ago and found that the gameplay had changed significantly. Now, it's all about spending money - you can't do anything for free. I noticed that many other players online feel the same way. I am surprised that it is still operating, but it seems that it may still be going due to its addictive nature.

Edit: ok, I see it closed a wee while ago. It still lasted too long.
