edit: after playing the mess that is yakuza 6, i appreciate this title a lot more. the combat, gameplay, cutscenes, content; its all just so much better. story still kinda blows minus Shinada.

its ok. combat is great and side missions/content are all super fun. the variety is amazing from wii sports to project diva and it all just works. my main issue is the story kinda sucks and feels aimless till the final act where they start pulling dumb twists left and right/ that being said, loved all the final parts minus the ending. acually i dislike most of harukas story; park is a horrible person and i hate that shes glorified so much, t-set can get fucked but at the end now theyre good? idk man, also why in the world would she ever dox kiryu at the end? also ending in general felt underwhelming just cutting to credits

at least we got Shinada and more Akiyama
