aaaahhh this game's lit. I only ever played the Tony Hawk games back in the day at sleepovers and stuff, so the nostalgia factor was a minimal thing for me here. still, it felt damn good to be playing a good skateboarding game again. there's a lot of dope stuff about this game, but one of the things I appreciated the most was the feeling of progression. as hard as it was for me to land a simple ollie when I first booted up the game, it felt suuuuper rewarding by the time I'd 100% both THPS1 and THPS2 and had pretty much mastered the gameplay.
