A fun addition to the series that brings back a lot of old characters, with some very enjoyable classic gameplay. Lots of content, too.
I do miss the expressiveness of the older sprites from the arcade titles, but it's still pretty well-done visually and I believe the character are animated using some sort of 3D model or rig-based thing, which would explain why. Still, it would be nice to see some of that animation style make a comeback in a future game.
I also missed the "Chain Reaction" mechanic from Puzzle Bobble 4 and the arcade Super Puzzle Bobble, kind of wish that had made a return as well.
Overall, a fun time and worthy addition to the series.
