Fun, but insanely disappointing as someone who adores the original Hyrule Warriors. It's way less interesting than that game was.
The focus on BotW makes sense for when it was released, but there's barely anything new, all the areas and models are from BotW. The "all-star" aspect of the original Hyrule Warriors is not present at all, and there's pretty much nothing present from any Zelda games EXCEPT BotW which is kind of a drag.
It's not a bad game at all, but as someone who spent like half a decade playing through the original Hyrule Warriors on and off, it just feels insanely lacking in comparison and if we ever get a third Hyrule Warriors, I seriously hope it'll return to the original's all-star Zelda crossover type of focus, as there's a ton of stuff they can still do with the older entries.
