Have you ever wondered what makes you human?

Perhaps possessing a mind to think or perhaps even feelings to love.
Is it then the mind or the heart that makes us human? Would it be the reason or the passion that make us special?
No matter how different or philosophical the question is, the question will remain, what makes us truly special? What makes us really human?

STORY

Nier Replicant, a game that takes place in a mysterious future where humanity comes to know its ruin due to unexpected and unknown events that changed and condemned the course of its future, thus passing 1,412 years after the destruction of the world as we know it, thus allowing this game will tell a large part of its narrative by simply analyzing its setting, by contemplating its constructions or simply by admiring its vast and rich world, thus fascinating the player throughout the plot by digging deeper into the mysteries that the universe of DrakenNieR has to offer, after all not all the answers are given here, so it's up to you to chart your course towards this mysterious and cruel journey that Yoko Taro will deliver to us.

GAMEPLAY

Have you ever played an action RPG that lets you read a visual novel while walking around in classic roguelike style? If not, well, I present NieR Replicant to you, a work where its director did not face the lack of budget as an impediment, but as an opportunity, thus allowing him to deliver not only a game whose narrative will leave you with tears on your face, but also a gameplay unique and organic that will provide you with an experience never seen before in another work that can be consumed in the gaming market.

SOUNDTRACK

OHBOY! OHBOY! OHBOY!
I know I say this in almost all of my reviews, but here I will use it again with no regrets in these tears!

WHAT ABOUT NIER REPLICAN'S SOUNDTRACK?
Simply absurd, simple as that being a big part of what you feel throughout the gameplay influences the divine soundtracks that this game manages to deliver so I think I could discuss how the story and gameplay of this game made me consider it one of the best ever released, however I couldn't do the same with the songs in this game because the feelings they gave me are too powerful for me to be able to convey them in words without taking away part of all their power.
Snow in Summer, Shadowlord Theme, Song of the Ancients, Ashes of Dreams, Kainé - Escape, The Ultimate Weapon and damn Emil - Sacrifice are so many songs that you will put on the playlist that I already see myself buying another microSD cards for my cell phone, so you understand? As it is impossible to talk about each one here because if I start this review it will have more than 1,412 paragraphs, you can be sure of that.
So in closing Keiichi Okabe and Emi Evans thank you, thank you for these masterpieces.

CHARACTERS

Yes, this review will have infinite lines, deal with it, grab some popcorn and read each line with passion because this field of characters could not be missing for a game like this because how could I not mention this cast when I talk about NieR Replicant? It would be a war crime not to talk at least a little bit about each one right?
NieR, Kainé, Emil, Weiss, Popola, Devola, Yonah, Halua, Noir, King of Facade, Fyra, Shadowlord and much more, there are so many charismatic characters, so many deep characters that it is practically impossible to comment on each one without talking about each one , there are so many layers, so many criticisms and characteristics that this game brings to its cast that you simply cannot say which is the best built despite the fact that, like me, you have your preferences.

OVERVIEW

Can I say that NieR Replicant is perfect? No, unfortunately I can't say, but what Yoko Taro did in this game is worthy of praise, the man turned the low budget of this game into an opportunity to provide a unique experience to the player in an organic and natural way while putting in his frequent doubts and questions during the course of the plot, after all, what does it mean to be right? What is it like to be wrong? Would it be the reason that makes us human by sacrificing the life we love for the greater good? Or would it be the emotion that makes us human by saving the life of someone special in our heart at the cost of all civilization?
In the end, this is the answer I couldn't get, the answer I couldn't find, yet when I finish all the endings of this masterpiece I can at least state:
NieR Replicant is the game that will make you realize that you don't have to be bad to kill someone, you just have to think you're right.

So yes, thanks again Yoko Taro for giving birth to DrakenNier, thanks to you too for reading this huge review so I hope to see you again in my future NieR Automata review

Yes, I know there's not a lot to say about this game, but I'm not a good writer and it certainly wouldn't be the best indication to talk about how great this game is, but I hope that in these long sentences I've managed to at least demonstrate a little bit of how absurd this game can be so if you have the opportunity and interest jump headlong into this masterpiece because it deserves all your attention.
