aside from the 3d mario games, this is definitely the best platformer on switch, maybe even the best 2d mario in general. every single level has its own unique gimmick, and theres even different types of levels so you never get bored playing the same format over and over again. my only real complaint is that some basic movement options are locked behind badges, and this multiplayer/online is honestly some of nintendo's worst. but those 2 minor flaws are nothing compared to the highs this game has to offer. just wonderful
