The original Super Smash Bros. has being the first game in the series going for it. Melee has being Melee going for it. Brawl has The Subspace Emissary going for it. Ultimate has the best roster of the series as of this review going for it.
And what does Super Smash Bros. for Wii U have going for it? Well, aside from a terrible name, not much. Still, Smash is Smash. Play this if your Switch is broken and/or you're not willing to pay $80 for a copy of Melee.
