Honestly having played more of Siactro’s games I struggle to understand why there are people who don’t like them much. Even with the less than stellar ones, Siactro always succeeds with making fun, bite sized adventures that perfectly capture the games that they’re homaging. Obviously I much prefer the Toree games over this but Super Kiwi 64 is just a lot of fun to play with how simple its collectathon elements are and how fun it is to control Kiwi. On top of that, the reward for getting all the collectables encourages you to go back through stages to see which codes you can find and I find it a ton of fun. Not the best collectathon game out there but one I’ve had quite a lot of fun with, especially considering the last game I went through.
