As with 11, the biggest draw for me was the story mode. Silly, fun, and like taking part in a nonsense martial arts film, the last kouple of MK games have been very good. However, the story does the heavy lifting. I've never been a fan of the MK kontrols, and I habitually revert back to Street Fighter every now and then. And I still can't get used to blocking, but that's on me.

This didn't quite reach the highs of MK11 for me, but that one kaught me by surprise with how much I enjoyed it, but I still had a great time playing and enjoyed every moment.

Also as is recurrent, the game looks great, and while I've never kared for videogames being photo realistic, this seems to be edging kloser.

I fully expect more story kontent to be released in a season pass or whatever, and when it drops to a tenner, I'll be all over it. In the meantime, the lovely graphics are taking up hard drive space, so that'll be all until then.
