Lynne is a dark game, so much so that it crossed the line into edgy territory. And yet, if you know enough people, you probably know some if not all of the characters that appear here.
It starts bleak and remains unflinchingly bleak up until the end, to the point that, when things are fine as can be, you'd find it borderline ridiculous. However, if you'd ever felt as overburdened, stressed and alone as the titular main character, then there's confort in seeing it all reflected here. There's no happy ending or catharsis to be found, but at the very least and depending on who you are, you might leave feeling seen.
