Characters:
The protagonist, Bayonetta, is an overly-powerful nudist witch. There's also a horny reporter who hates her because he thinks she killed his father, another extremely powerful nudists witch but with a contrasting color palette, a sleazy information broker, and the coolest bartender in all of gaming who's also a demon.
Story:
Jane, the other witch, is coming for your ass, and so does the entire angelic heriarchy of heaven. At some point there's a child running around. By the end of the game you confront Bayonetta's shitty dad and kill god in one of the funnest and most epic final battles I've played.
So, is it good?:
This game is absolute camp, goofiness, violence and fun condensed, mixed with a cup of catholic lore first passed through a JRPG filter. It has the best rendition of Fly me to the Moon I've heard. I say this without a hint of irony: this game dragged me out of a depressive episode.
I absolutely recommend it.
