I really appreciate this game. It starts out a cool and relaxed hike in the woods and half way through it makes you feel as though some grand conspiracy is taking place, when in the end that's not the case.

People say the game's ending was disappointing because it didn't have some earth shattering, mind blowing reveal but it didn't need that. The real answer makes you sad and confused and that's perfect.

The games does isolation super well. The voice acting needed to be great and thankfully it is. It strikes me as an interactive movie really and I was thankful it wasn't long because from time to time I can appreciate playing a full game in just one sitting, even though I didn't do that.

Firewatch has an interesting premise which they executed super well and is a nice departure from most games I've been playing at the minute. It's grounded and well written story makes me grateful that they didn't go for world ending consequences like every other game/movie/TV show.

Maybe I'm wrong but this game has very little flaws. It's the perfect example of a short and linear experience. It also picked the perfect song for ending credits. That shit made me feel.
