Really enjoyed it, aside from the weird boss fights, especially the last one, I found the game's pacing very good. This franchise is very dear to me (started with spin-offs on PSP when I was younger then got A Crank in Time as the first PS3 game) and it was my first time finishing this one.
The frame-rate for this HD version of the game is sometimes choppy, not distracting except in the last world and the final boss.
I think this has the bases of what makes a good game and it ups a notch in everything and gives a story / reason for this characters I am not used to see in this type of games.
