Compared to its narrative and technical predecessor, Legend, I'd say that Underworld possesses higher highs, but far lower lows. The lock-on combat fares even worse in this game, with the improbably-good aim and near-impenetrability of the enemies turning shoot-outs into battles of attrition. The story is some real grade-A cheese, but is paced well enough, and serves as solid bedrock for the stars of the game: The, well, tomb raiding. All expertly-staged levels that were a joy to explore.
