Frostpunk is a fantastic city-builder that somehow manages to have a level of depressing atmosphere to it, which is quite unique for this genre of game. It's a fun time, but I didn't find myself really motivated to do another playthrough unlike other city builders. The way Frostpunk is structured is more like a strategy game where you're optimizing things to survive, as opposed to a normal city-builder where your creativity can take hold. But I like how unique Frostpunk is.

I did play some of the scenarios, but I think the one that stood out was The Last Autumn. Great stuff there, although the incessant amount of notifications I received for events became a little annoying by the end. That scenario almost felt like it could be a scenario in its own right!

Frostpunk is a solid game, but I didn't feel myself too blown away by it. At a certain point I said, "Alright, I get it", and pushing it any further than that would cause me to get bored. Definitely worth a shot to see how unique it is within the city-builder genre.
