Sonic Unleashed's day stages, but with the much tighter controls and better UI of Sonic Generations, and absolutely zero of the Werehog or medal collection bloat at that. Given the unlikelihood of Unleashed ever getting a PC release, this is as good as it gets. The only issue I can bring up that aren't inherent to Unleashed's level design would be the brutal S Ranks, but even that's fixed with a separate mod. If you're looking to give Unleashed a try in some form or another and aren't one to gripe for authenticity, you've got no excuse to sleep on this one.
