PS3 Version
Ratchet & Clank 1: 9/10
Ratchet & Clank 2: 10/10
Ratchet & Clank 3: 6/10

The trilogy overall is rather buggy on the PS3, with random crashes and some skill points not triggering properly in the 2nd and 3rd game.

Despite these bugs, the games themselves still shine through. Having got the triple Platinum Trophy (1 per game), I enjoyed replaying these classics from my childhood and appreciated some stuff I didn't as a kid. This being the the humour, character development and level design in the platforming. The 1st game had the best humour and story and deserved a lot of credit for it. Despite the lack of strafing and the game lacking in an exp system, it is a different platform oriented take on the series. Seeing it this way definitely made it stand out as one of my all time favourite games.

The 2nd game is my favourite overall
from the trilogy, as it has a good combination of platforming and shoot em' up game play. The 1st being more of a platformer and the 3rd being more of a shoot em' up. The 2nd reaches a balance between the two.

The 2nd game has the most enjoyable weapons imo. New Game+ is fun with first person mode's wall climb glitch, allowing anyone to explore the game out of bounds.

The 3rd I felt was a step down from the 2nd. The mini-games and vehicle segments aren't as good as in the 2nd and the humour feels less witty than the 1st. Worst of all, I personally find this game to have the worse new weapons. I suspect the developers working on multiplayer caused the game to lack to expansive of variety as the 2nd game did, as time and resources were spent there.

To conclude. It's a fun time, despite the bugs with the port, that any PlayStation fan should definitely check out. Would recommend.
