PlayStation TV.

This game is really hard to go back to. Wouldn't recommend unless you're set on playing everything Persona.

The amount of backtracking and tedium to get and fuse Personas in this game just kills my desire to play. The controls are rather sensitive and take getting used to and battles can be rather slow. The UI is jarring after coming from playing the aesthetic masterpiece of 5 (or even in comparison to 4), as it's very "standard" 90s JRPG UI. Other "early series weirdness" like them calling "Shadows" "Demons" (as it would seem this is before the series "lore" really seperately itself from SMT) is also jarring.

This game has its strong points, "School Days" is an absolute bop and the grid based combat system is interesting.

Really this game could use a remake, adding quality of life and redoing the dialogue; also taking inspiration from "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" for its overworld and "social links" that wouldn't be dependent on a calendar if I'm throwing ideas out there.
