A very solid 2D platformer with plenty of fun level designs, as well as a good variety of level themes. Thought the difficulty scaled up pretty well throughout the game too. The visuals also still hold up quite nicely, and man this game has one of the best soundtracks I've heard in a while, really made the levels feel more atmospheric and memorable. Great sound design too, makes collecting those costume pieces and stickers feels so satisfying, as well as building up your score combo.

The online servers have been down for years so I just played the story mode, and I'm really disappointed that I never played this series in it's heyday really, I did have the PSP one but had no way to access the online in it at the time. The community aspect of these games seemed like something truly special from what I've been able to see online.

Excited to check out the other games, even if only for the story mode content. Hopefully LBP3's servers will be back up before I can get to it.
