I'm loving this game. I still need to finish everything, but it's fantastic so far. I feel sorry for all the hate is receiving, most of it gratuitous, I'd dare to say. When it comes to the already infamous bugs, those we have all seen on social media and whatnot are from people playing an earlier build or with an emulator. I have yet to get almost any bug or glitch (just very basic harmless stuff that doesn't spoil my fun), and I have more than 45 hours of gameplay.

Enough of that. Scarlet/Violet are great games. It adds a lot to the mainline series. To begin with, the actual open world feeling: It's a vast world. The graphics may not be perfect, but the immersion feeling is there: you and a significant portion of a planet full of monsters, and you can see them, and they have so many different personalities and ways of interacting. It's a lot of fun.

Second, the opportunity to go around that world with your legendary pokémon. Miraidon/Koraidon is an endearing beast; you really get to know it and grow fond of it. I love running, flying, climbing mountains and swimming with this awesome dude.

And finally, the multiple storylines. This probably is the best. I love having so many choices and being able to go to any Gym I want, not being ridiculously hand-holded as in the last three generations of games. And come on, they are good stories. It's interesting. I am invested in these characters and my journey.

I give it 4/5 just for the bugs issue and because it's about time they provide us with voice-over! I hope future patches will come and fix the problems. That will bring some justice to this groundbreaking title for the franchise.
