If you liked the combat of Nocturne, but wish the game had a traditional RPG setup, this game does wonders. I really enjoyed my time with Digital Devil Saga, and it might just be one of my favorites in my growing list of JRPGs I've completed. Of the few issues I can think of, the game's difficulty tends to fluctuate, but is mostly easy. There are a few really tedious dungeons in the form of the Waterways and the Deserted Ship, but other than that it's really solid.
