The original was a mostly linear game where it wasn't too difficult figuring out what to do next. The quality was also mostly consistent throughout. This sequel is nothing like that. It's a lot more open, but that's not necessary a good thing. It's not always clear where you need to go, hints are vague, and the night and day cycle honestly is more of a hindrance than anything. It's certainly ambiguous enough for me to not want to rate it considerably lower than the original, but it is most certainly a less satisfying experience overall.
