The story and combat were both way more fun and interesting than both 4 and Ragnarok for me. Like genuinely it's not even a contest I would rather play this old PS2 game than either of the high budget reboots. As someone who started with 4 and played Ragnarok before this I don't know why they swapped cool combat and narrative for a slow paced adventure. I'm actually shocked to like this so much after thinking those other games were just aight I guess.
