my face when i beat this by accident today

gorn is a real fun game, that just lacks a lot of polish, killing enemies feels good and fun, the cartoony gore of course adding a lot to that fun, but damn, some of these weapons are just NOT IT man, anything that's two handed (with some exceptions) is just a no go, too cumbersome to use and just... too weak.

there is a bit of story and lore, it's elaborated upon at all but that's fine, it's just there to give you something to do, and honestly, i found myself really getting immersed into the role of a gladiator, i did in fact scream at the top of my lungs after every single battle

if i had to complain about anything that isn't the lack of polish and the controls (both of which i can excuse due to this being an early VR title), would be the final boss fight, which took me 50 minutes to realize you have to throw the heads that are incoming towards you into the boss, which by the way is very hard. feels like playing tennis but, worse.

also as a side note, this is the first game i've played that does not have any loading screens at all, except maybe for when launching the game, it just, fades to black, unfades to gameplay, which might be a genuine advantage into making me choosing to play this over blade and sorcery or something

very fun game.
