X2: Wolverine's Revenge tries to capitalize on the success of the X2 film, but falls short with an intriguing, disease-driven plot hampered by repetitive combat and frustrating level design. Wolverine's feral abilities make for some satisfying moments, and the stealth elements offer glimpses of potential. However, the game feels unpolished, plagued by awkward camera angles and inconsistent difficulty spikes that make the experience more tedious than thrilling. Fans of the clawed mutant might find some enjoyment, but the overall package is a mixed bag.
