Oddworld Adventures is a valiant attempt to bring the quirky charm and puzzle-platforming of the Oddworld series to the Game Boy. While it features decent visuals and the unique 'Gamespeak' communication system, the limited hardware hinders its ambition. The controls feel imprecise, levels are often frustratingly difficult, and the overall experience feels short and unsatisfying compared to its console counterparts. Despite its ambition, Oddworld Adventures is likely only a worthwhile experience for hardcore Oddworld fans curious about the series' handheld iteration.
