First time playing SM3DW and it's absolutely fantastic, enough that I did go back to get stars, stamps and flagpoles I missed on my first run, as well as trying out different characters.

Bowser's Fury is also pretty incredible, perfect length and pacing for the core concept to really work without getting tedious. Kaiju boss battles were awesome too.

I dunno, it's mainline Mario. With a few exceptions it's almost always a great time.
