One of the best ways to explore Kanto, Pokemon Regulation Red & Blue add strictly enforced rule-sets, like mono-type, nuzlocke, or randomized Pokemon game types, and automatically configures the game to make these runs as accessible as possible. My first playthrough was a fighting mono-type run, but I'm looking forward to many more!
