For me, this game feels like an entry in the franchise that has no respect whatsoever for what the original trilogy was all about.
Many gameplay decisions go in total contradiction to the core of Halo's arena design. Sure, I can play it for 2-3 matches and have fun, but after that it gets very stale.
What many will praise is the campaign, and I also have many complaints about it. I do love the premise of the story, specially the plot-line of Cortana's rampancy. The gameplay, level design, and enemy encounters of the campaign however, just bring it down so much. The entire campaign feels like I'm waiting for a level with those epic Halo battles I love, and it just never came.
