This game sucks, here's why.
The gameplay and core mechanics rule. It's a massive improvement from ASB Vanilla. Assists are a well executed new mechanic and the change to GHAs and the combo system overall make the game much more fun to play. When it comes to all of that, I'd say this game is pretty solid. When it comes to like, y'know, probably THE selling point of a modern fighter (the netcode) this game sucks balls. To start simply, there's no rollback. That'd be horrifying on its own right if it wasn't for the fact that there's no lobbies, a pitiful 'one and done' ranked match system that doesn't even allow you to go to a character select screen beforehand, and the fact that some matches can get interrupted right before everything loads. This game's online is a travesty, and I doubt it'll be fixed. It's quite a shame, as this game is quite fun. Don't spend money on this game if it's not on sale.
