My friends and I went in with a positive mindset and had a good time. It's not a perfect game, but it was certainly not made with ill intent. There were some genuinely great moments and fun horror bits (for example, the snail eyes fake-out was literally genius). This is by no means "the death of mascot horror" and I'm excited to see how the sequels improve in the future.
