My first classic pc game I managed to complete on my steam deck. I definitely had plans to play this one after I learned about fallout 3 when I was way younger which started it all for me. Honestly had my doubts at first about using a mouse and coming to terms with the old adventure gameplay style of PC games, but once I started getting it going, it was legendary! Truly felt ahead of its time with all the unique options with weapon and character building. The fact that you could use the 10mm submachine gun in burst mode had saved me more times than I could count and the side quests and followers you could recruit really gave it that extra level of RPG depth. Pretty damn good story for the fallout series too! I would love to see a remake of this one in the newer fallout gameplay style, but I certainly enjoyed this gameplay style too! I will definitely get to Fallout 2 sometime in the future for some more wacky wasteland questing!
