First Resident Evil game I've played. This game was great. The setting was just so damn creepy. The gameplay was fun, puzzles were meh but the bosses were great. Going through each family member was cool af. I'd say the worst part is on the ship. Didn't like that part. But the rest of the game is great. Sure a RE game that doesn't really have zombies is weird, but I think it worked.

Very interesting setup and intriguing mystery. The game nails the pacing by structuring the game into sections dedicated to each family member. Therefore, with each enemy you beat you feel more powerful as you upgrade Ethan's abilities and arsenal. By the end you're transformed from a victim to a badass biochemical weapon slayer.
