People often refer to Sonic 2006 as one of the worst games ever. At least with that game, you can kind of see what they were going for. There's something beautiful under that mess of bugs. There's a world where it could have been great, a true Adventure 3.

There is no such world where a great version of Lost World exists. Clumsy level design, terrible dialogue and just plain not fun. This feels like it's trying to be what Sonic Xtreme would have been and in doing so, it accomplishes the impossible. It makes me glad Sonic Xtreme got cancelled. That's a damn shame.
