While this game was VERY hyped up for me by others, it was still nice to play through (mainly after I realized it's turnbased and not ATB, I just like being super rush down in these types of games). Story was pretty nice and was kind of intriguing at times. I wouldn't say it's as amazing as it's made out to be by fans (I think there's nostalgia at play since the majority I've talked to say it was a childhood game and such, and I respect that) but I liked it. Overall nice story to go with gameplay that's... alright and leaves a lot to be desired. It was fun having my significant other be my Pokemon partner (they were a Vulpix and I was a Shinx btw) so that was pretty cute
