I have many mixed feelings on this one. Story is whatever, but that's not why we're here. I didn't care for the battle style update, namely the Agile and Strong Styles. I did love being able to immediately catch pokemon in the overworld without needing to battle them. The final antagonist fight is 7 layers of bullshit, and the graphics aren't much to write home about. I put the game down for almost a year because this game wore me down more than any others in the series has. But it was really cool to see them try something new, and I'd be willing to see another game in this style, if they take some lessons from this game and gen 9.
