this game has aged to look pretty goofy in terms of characters' faces which honestly would be a bigger downside if this already didn't take itself a lot less seriously than you would expect for a Western military espionage game Sam will crack jokes in wildly serious situations and banter with captured enemies its honestly good it's not deep writing or anything but it does lighten the mood of the game and it doesn't happen so often that it makes this into some comedy or becomes obnoxious from it I quite surprised by that. Now the game is pretty enjoyable I skipped Pandora's Tomorrow so jumping from the first entry to this it is so much more polished in terms of controls and the game feels it's still not quite the standardized PC control we have come to expect but it feels good I didn't feel the need to remap anything in particular, it is very linear and I expected that and I was pleasantly surprised by how open it can often be I never felt like I soft locked myself by doing something weird and the quick save system really fits well here allowing for experimentation overall even though a lot of the levels themselves are not super exciting to look at it is like this stealth thrill ride for most of it's run time
