College Hoops 2K8 has become a cult classic on PS3/360, but this review is about the PS2 version, which is just okay.
By this time, the 2K basketball engine was starting to get smoother, but steals and intercepted passes can really be cheesed in this edition. The menus are woefully generic, and the game doesn't really do much to add to the college atmosphere. It's fun enough, but the PS2 version falls short of the its seventh-ten versions.
