Gaplus is the direct sequel to the iconic Namco arcade title Galaga. I love Galaga, but I never encountered this arcade cabinet in the wild. Thank God, or I'd have lost a lot of quarters to this addictive, fun game. Like its predecessor, Gaplus is easy to learn but hard to master. It takes everything that was great about Galaga, but builds on it by adding increased movement and the iconic "twin ship" mechanic has been expanded to as many ships as you can merge with. A great game to check out if you enjoy the more well known titles in Namco's arcade library. I managed to get ranked 140 on Nintendo Switch!
