Coming from the same studio behind the Prey DLC, Mooncrash (although with different teams), we have Deathloop. While many reviewers compare Deathloop to Prey - Mooncrash, they are distinct experiences. In my opinion, Deathloop offers a more traditional "Arkane" experience. With just four levels, each one is packed with content. The time loop mechanic adds depth to the gameplay, narrowing the focus of each level. As a fan of rogue-likes, I appreciated these elements in the game. However, it's important to note that Deathloop is primarily a story-driven game with rogue-like elements, not a full-on rogue-like. This distinction may deter some players. Overall, Deathloop provides a highly enjoyable experience with solid gameplay typical of the studio, even if the story doesn't stand out.
