Game is honestly hot garbage. The Jetpack still feels good to control, that's it.

This game serves to overcomplicate the previous game. That really feels like there's all it is. You still are an astronaut with a jetpack, but now there's a truck, and a timer, and a fuel meter, bombs, alien bases, and the wonderful sidescrolling. All of these should come together to make an engaging game about taking down alien bases, but truly it is just a 'driving my truck from side to side' simulator. You put the bomb in your truck, drive to the nearest base, patch the holes in the road, blow up the alien base, and rinse and repeat. The truck is super slow, and each base is further out from the last, so a lot of the game ends up being spent just... driving with nothing to do. If you do ever get out of the truck there's a 50% chance you just immediately get sniped by an asteroid or alien, plus your fuel drains, so there's really no reason to get out unless you have to.

The game also CHUGS when multiple things are on screen, leading to times where I'd blow up the framerate eating alien base, only to immediately get sniped by a meteor coming in from the side once the framerate sped up.

Even the snapshots from Rare Replay don't really save this one. They're all kinda lame, especially the fourth one, I had so many cheap deaths due to the framerate fluctuations.

This game is just not fun, it's a tedious and poorly designed experience that feels bent on wasting time and jumpscaring the player with meteors.
