Even better than the first game, which already was a classic in of itself. Donkey Kong Country 2 further improves upon it with more variety in it's levels and more incentive to gather collectibles. The challenge is also increased, and the game can get pretty difficult later in the stage, but it definitely helps the game feel more satisfying to complete and stand out. Easily one of the best 2D platformers out there, in addition to a pretty great soundtrack.
