The most No More Heroes any No More Heroes has ever been, probably.

Strikes a nice balance between staying true to the original game and streamlining the core loop as much as possible without going to the extremes NMH2 did, leaving pretty much no fat left to trim. Combat was phenomenal too so it was easy to feel compelled to do every optional fight out there on top of every side activity as well.

Music and the overall presentation in terms of different art styles, UI design and the like were top notch, although I wasn't a big fan of the visuals. It hurts to say but it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say this is the ugliest game I've played in recent memory.

Other than that I think my only disappointments with this game lie in how it kind of falls flat after everything TSA set up, but seen as its own thing and understanding how pressed for time (and probably money) the team was it's hard to blame them when the final product is still this good.
