I really only played this to see the parallels in MGS1. It had its moments. The codec was mostly useless especially in the beginning. Campbell is an idiot. Miller was high save for a few boss fights. The animal guys regrettably was very important for the animal sections but he logic was downright atrocious. Most of the boss fights had cute mechanics. The only one I thought was clever was Running Man with the mines. This boss was also one of the ones the tripped me up and made me do the swamp maze like 4 times because I didn't know his health didn't reset on leaving the room like everything else in this game. Metal Gear was a let down. Grey Fox literally just kept running in circles. Big Boss was decent.
