A fantastic reimagining of a fictionalised plague, i liked the relative secrecy and mysteriousness with which the threat of the rats was handled. It was nice to see the Inquisition being the villains of the story i don't really see that often, fairly entertaining and responsive gameplay although you can just turn cheats on by the end if you upgrade your rocks. The artistry is also immaculate with its masterful use of desolation being in full display during the boats, abandoned battlefield and Cathedral stages.
All in all, fantastic and really refreshing game
