Quite literally a gamechanger. The Resident Evil series wouldn't have been rejuvenated without it. That said, it's been hyped beyond all reason because it's a Hideo Kojima project that is a glimpse of what became a canceled project. Suffers a lot from 'what could have been'. Yet, it's still a fantastic experience. I played the Unity rebuild and I honestly love its atmosphere. It's not perfect, and doesn't really feel like a Silent Hill installment, but still impressive nonetheless.

I think it's telling that PT is only a demo, but still has a reputation for being a great, influential game in its own right.
