Man, I feel like most VNs with multiple romance options aren't as obvious as this one is about how being nice during 1-2 tiny interactions sends you barreling down each girl's route. This by itself wouldn't necessarily be bad (I don't think most of us are here for hard-earned romance) if it wasn't for how quickly the routes consume most aspects of each girl's personalities that aren't "oh my god I love him" - doing away with parts of them I actually liked and made them more unique during the common route. As of writing this, I've still only done Murasame's then Mako's route but overall the girls feel a little formulaic (even early on before the romance kicks into overdrive). Slightly forcing myself to play the rest of the routes here [18 hours in]

Okay just finished Lena's route as my last because I saw a few people say they were glad or wish they had saved the best for last and damn they were right. That route is a pretty large improvement over all the others - to the point it basically feels like YuzuSoft originally intended it to be the one "true" story/ending. Not only because it unveiled so much of the mystery but because Lena retained her personality, had great chemistry with the MC, and there were many heartwarming scenes that weren't just them restating their love or having sex. Literally saved this VN from being a 3 or 4 and brings it to a solid 5/10 (Lena route 8/10).

Enjoyed the rural Japanese countryside setting of this VN, music was nice as well, comfy atmosphere and artstyle. Kinda low variety in background pictures though. I don't regret reading this, but I definitely expected more from the Overwhelmingly Positive reception on Steam. Also, too many H-scenes for me, I mostly blitzed through them. I wanted a moege not a nukige lol

Route writing quality: Lena 8 >>> Mako 6 > Murasame 5 > Yoshino 4 >>> Roka 2 > Koharu 1 [should be noted the last two are shorter and overlap a lot though]
My fav girls: Mako > Murasame > Roka > Lena > Yoshino >>> Koharu
