If I first played this when I was 12, it probably would have been one of my favorite games. I have a nostalgic place in my heart for the Clone Wars era, and the tactical commands you're able to do with your squad helps deliver on the fantasy of that. However, playing it in 2024 for the first time, the gunplay feels considerably weak, especially when fighting tankier enemies that take an excessive amount of ammo to take down. Weapon variety was also slightly lacking and some enemy types were more annoying to fight than anything. Overall, I'm happy I played this and got to feel some love for Star Wars that I haven't had in a while. I just don't see myself playing this again over simply replaying Halo: Combat Evolved.
