It doesn't achieve innovation within the genre, but rather worsens it. The game itself may be nice, but if you're going to play it as a "Souls like" or a relative of the Dark Souls, it's very bad. The combat system is not good, the story is poorly constructed with a boring protagonist, and it has a very bad enemy system.
